In 1939, on the heels of the Great Depression, millions of people traveled to a former ash dump in Queens, New York, to catch a fleeting glimpse of a better future. WORLD FAIR is a short documentary that weaves together the stories of former fairgoers, now in their eighties and nineties, with archival Kodachrome footage, transporting viewers to the futuristic and hopeful realm of the 1939 New York World's Fair.
2. Mr. Todd's Fancy

Historical documentary about Miss Fancy, 'The Queen of the Avondale Zoo' from 1913 to 1934; and her handler, Mr. John Todd. Miss Fancy was the first animal in the Avondale Zoo, precursor to the Birmingham Zoo. Miss Fancy and Mr. Todd are remembered for their love of alcohol and misbehavior. Interviews with local historians as well as locals who remember Miss Fancy are woven into a delightful, short documentary piece about a Birmingham legend.

As Eddie Kirkland put it - 'my father jumped on my mother and she came up with me.' I was born in Jamaica when my mom was 12 years old.' Eddie told me he was 'Born with It.'

In April 2012, a group of U.S. veterans of the Vietnam War traveled with Habitat for Humanity to the Mekong Delta. Over two weeks, the veterans healed decades-old wounds of war while building houses and hope in partnership with Vietnamese families. This film follows Vic Romback from memories of his Air Force deployment through his return to Vietnam, the construction of three Habitat for Humanity homes, and a moving tribute to soldiers laid to rest in a Vietnamese National Cemetery.
